2nd Senior All-Star
Event a Success
The 2nd annual IHSTeCA
Senior Boys Tennis All-Star match was a huge success on Saturday,
Nov. 7, 2009 at DePauw University. The near 70 degree temperatures helped the cause and the
boys had a great day. The Northeast team was the top scoring team,
followed by Southeast, Southwest, and Northwest, respectively.
Thanks again to St. Vincent
Sports Performance Center,
Indianapolis Racquet Club, and Penn for their generous sponsorships.

BOYS SENIOR ALL-STAR
TENNIS EVENT
IS ENJOYABLE DAY AT DEPAUW UNIVERSITY
The
Indiana High School Tennis Coaches Association conducted the
inaugural Boys' Senior All-Star Match event under sunny skies
and 75 degree temperatures on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at DePauw
University in Greencastle.
The Northeast stars won with 15.5 points. The Southwest
was second at 12.5, followed by Northwest at 9.5, and Southeast
at 6.5. Click for individual results.

St. Vincent Sports Performance Center is the primary sponsor of
the new event. Other sponsors include the Indianapolis
Racquet Club, the Indy Tennis Championships, K-Swiss, Penn, and Golfsmith Golf and Tennis.
Carmel Coach Mike Bostic, 5th vice president
of the IHSTeCA, was the event organizer.
There has been no All-Star opportunity for senior boys for the
past several years. An Indiana-Kentucky event was offered
in the late 1990s. For senior girls, the Indiana Coaches
of Girls Sports Association annually offers the North-South Cup
in June.
